In the heart of downtown, Alchemy Color Lab Salon Spa was born from a vision—one that blended artistry, education, and a deep commitment to growing the next generation of stylists. What started as a boutique salon quickly became a creative hub, a place where stylists could hone their craft, push artistic boundaries, and build meaningful careers. From the very beginning, we set out to cultivate more than just beautiful hair—we aimed to create a culture of mentorship and innovation, where both our team and our guests could flourish.
As our reputation for exceptional hair color, precision cutting, and transformative styling grew, so did our community. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of mentoring and collaborating with some of Metro Detroit’s most sought-after stylists, many of whom have gone on to build thriving careers of their own. Our commitment to education, technical excellence, and authentic connections has allowed us to not only shape stunning hair but also shape the future of the industry. Seeing our former stylists open their own salons, become educators, and elevate the beauty industry is one of our proudest accomplishments.

Our Artists undergo constant educational updates and are trained to bring you both modern and traditional trends.
Our Salon
Our salon began as a 4 chair studio. Can you believe it? We now have 7 chairs, 3 Estethic rooms and a color processing table in our downtown location! Over the last seven years we have had the opportunity to grow & train some of the areas best stylists.
